You are missing some Flash content that should appear here! Perhaps your browser cannot display it, or maybe it did not initialize correctly.

Notes

I've attached the script here as a text file so you can copy and paste it into your Google Sites script.

NOTE:  Beware, the only time the script is "dangerous" (i.e. unauthorized users could add things to your calendars) is if the person who installs the script specifically grants access for anyone to use it (which is not the default choice) AND forgets to set page-level permissions on that page up to "private."

Extension: If you were in a co-teaching arrangement and sharing course calendars, you might try setting the script up to allow others to use it but then limit page-view permissions to you and your co-teacher.

Script Allows a Teacher to Add a Single Assignment (Event) to Multiple Google Calendars

Problem of practice

Adding the same event to multiple calendars can be time-consuming. This script attempts to address this issue.

Solution

You can embed this script as a gadget into your Google Site, and then use it to create the same event on multiple Google calendars at the same time. See the link below this video to copy and paste the script.
